In the past couple of weeks, as our family cared for my mother-in-law, Olive HIllman, I made the decision to self-publish one of my ‘rejected’ novels. I still have no idea why my original publisher rejected On Silver Hill (or the other three novels) but I am determined these stories will be out for readers soon. In fact, The Silver Road, is out with a publisher in February 2026, and I have a full manuscript pending with a different publisher, so fingers crossed for that, too. I haven’t forgotten about my other six novels, and am in the process of finding a way to give them the rebrand they need. Sadly, Olive died on Thursday. She could never understand the trials and tribulations of publication, but she was a huge champion of my writing, and when I get my big romance novel, All But The Brightest Star, out into the world, I am dedicating it to her…she would have loved it (and blushed!).
You can get On Silver Hill right now in paperback and ebook format from Amazon:
